Location: Bangkok

Salary: THB 200,000+

Responsibilities:

• Provide commercial legal advice to the company, including acquisition of sites, development of sites, leasing of land and buildings, leasing of spaces in shopping mall area, property management, property permits and licenses, business permits and licenses for retailers and dealing with local authorities
• Handle contract drafting and negotiations, interpretation of legislation and solving legal disputes
• Implement policy, procedures and compliance frameworks
• Develop strategies to enhance risk management
• Coordinate with property and mall teams, including providing strategic advice, engaging relevant internal and external stakeholders, supporting the teams with case management and representing the teams at a senior level within the business
• Manage budget for external lawyers
• Liaise with other property lawyers across the Group

Qualifications:

• Thai nationality
• Bachelor and Master’s Degree in Law, overseas post-graduation is preferred
• At least 10 years of experience with strong knowledge of property law
• Experience gained from leading law firms or as an in-house lawyers from property related business preferred
• Strong leadership, negotiation, problem solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues to involved parties in a simple way
• · Good command of English both written and spoken
