Area Sales Manager – Export

Reporting to the Senior Export Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the export sales within a defined area in line with the company’s strategic business objectives;
  • Managing, motivating and supporting the company’s export distributors through regular territory visits;
  • Developing distributor support programs and supporting the distributors’ sales people on calls to architects, consulting engineers, main contractors, specialist sub-contractors and dealers;
  • Identifying, evaluating and exploiting new business opportunities.
  • Follow EHS policy, Principle conduct and action

Qualifications

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English;
  • At least 5 years’ experience in export sales and/or distributor sales management within   a construction materials or manufactured building products field;
  • Experience in dealing with architects, consulting engineers, main contractors, specialist sub-contractors and dealers;
  • Ability to understand construction/engineering drawings, specifications, bills of quantity and how building projects work;
  • Practically-minded, independent, self-motivated and able to work without close supervision;
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Service oriented, enthusiastic, and initiative with a strong sense of responsibility;
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, International Business or similar fields;
  • Computer literate (MS-Office applications);
